Publication status: Draft for operator review. The implementation, retention procedures, applicable legal requirements, and service-provider disclosures must be verified before this notice is approved or public application collection is enabled.
1. Who We Are
Drivearn ("Drivearn," "we," "us," or "our") is an online platform that helps people find last-mile delivery work and enables delivery businesses to review applications for their own openings. Drivearn is currently operated as an individual-run project under the Drivearn brand, rather than by an incorporated entity named "Drivearn LLC."
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit drivearnjobs.com, sign up, view jobs, submit a short job-specific application, or join the delivery-business early-access waitlist.
For privacy requests, email privacy@drivearnjobs.com. Additional contact channels may be added after they are verified.
2. Information We Collect
Account and contact information. When you create an account or apply for a role, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, authentication/session identifiers and related account details. Your password is sent through our application to Supabase for authentication. We do not intentionally store plaintext passwords in application records or application logs.
Driver screening answers. Each job may ask for relevant information, such as whether you can supply a vehicle; vehicle type and whether it is owned, leased or rented; delivery experience; workdays, working-hour availability when relevant to the job, and earliest start date. Company-vehicle roles may ask whether you are comfortable driving the stated vehicle. The current Quick Apply form does not separately ask for your preferred delivery area or ZIP code; location information stored with the application comes from the selected job. Questions concern the stated schedule and vehicle requirements. We do not require a resume or a detailed employment-history narrative to use Quick Apply.
Applications and consent records. We may retain the job and recruiting organization, the answers and contact information you submitted, submission time, review status, and the affirmative acknowledgment presented when you applied. New applications will also reference the applicable versioned Privacy Policy text and its content hash. Historical applications may have an acknowledgment record without a separately recorded Privacy Policy revision. Answers saved as application snapshots may remain unchanged even if you later change reusable preferences.
Business waitlist information. If you request DSP early access, we may collect business and contact names, work email, optional phone number, operating location, hiring needs and vehicle requirements.
Technical information. Our website and infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser/device information, requests, timestamps, login/session cookies, security events, and operational logs. The exact cookies, analytics and log retention in use will be reviewed before publication.
For initial Quick Apply, we do not request Social Security numbers, bank details, driver's-license photographs, government identity documents or full birth dates. If a recruiting organization later needs additional information, that process should be separately disclosed and not silently added to Drivearn's initial screening form.
3. Why We Use Information
We use relevant information to operate and secure accounts; display jobs; process the applications you choose to submit; help authorized recruitment personnel review answers against stated job requirements; manage application status and communications; operate the DSP early-access waitlist; investigate abuse or technical issues; comply with applicable obligations; and respond to privacy inquiries.
Drivearn may use saved answers to prefill later applications where this feature is enabled. You should be able to review and change prefilled answers before submitting another application. We do not require completion of a separate, lengthy driver profile before applying.
Drivearn's current pilot workflow uses structured questions and human review. Drivearn does not make final hiring or contractor-engagement decisions for recruiting businesses and does not currently use fully automated decisions to reject applicants. Any material change to these practices will require review of this Policy and related notices.
4. How Applications Are Shared
You choose the job. When you submit an application, Drivearn processes the information for that identified opportunity. Relevant contact information, screening answers and status information may be accessed by Drivearn personnel authorized to administer the pilot and, as part of the disclosed recruiting process, by the identified recruiting organization and its authorized representatives. In an early pilot, a Drivearn operator may review and manually refer an application to that organization.
Submitting an application to one recruiting organization does not authorize Drivearn to distribute your private contact information or screening answers to all delivery businesses, publish them in a searchable candidate directory, or reuse the application for unrelated employers.
Each Quick Apply form should identify the specific recruiting company and present the applicant-data sharing acknowledgment before final submission. A separate application to another company is a separate disclosure decision.
A recruiting business receiving your information may have independent retention and legal obligations. Drivearn cannot guarantee immediate deletion from a separate recruiting business's systems after a lawful referral; you may need to contact that business directly as well.
5. Other Disclosures and Service Providers
We use providers to support website hosting, database storage, authentication, security and transactional email. Providers currently used in development include Supabase for database/authentication and Resend for email delivery. Cloudflare provides domain, DNS and inbound email-routing services. The production hosting provider, any monitoring or analytics tools, and actual subprocessors will be confirmed before publication and this section updated as needed.
Providers may process information only as needed to provide their respective services under applicable terms and agreements. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, valid process, or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims, or in connection with a legitimate business transition subject to applicable protections.
Drivearn does not currently sell private driver application data to data brokers or use private screening answers for third-party behavioral advertising. This statement must remain accurate as the product and integrations change.
6. Data Retention
We aim to minimize how long personal information remains identifiable and accessible.
Job applications: Our intended default retention period for applicant contact details and submitted screening answers is no longer than 12 months from submission. We may retain particular information for longer where applicable laws require it, a valid legal hold applies, or retention is reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, investigate abuse, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We will delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, in accordance with an implemented retention and deletion procedure.
Account details and reusable preferences: Normally retained while the account remains active and for any additional period justified by legitimate security, recordkeeping or legal requirements. Account deletion requests will be reviewed; deleting an account may not immediately remove application records subject to a lawful retention requirement.
DSP waitlist: Retained while reasonably needed to administer early access and follow up with prospective partners, with periodic review and deletion of no-longer-needed records.
Security logs, backups and consent evidence: Retention depends on actual provider settings, security requirements, backup cycles and applicable recordkeeping duties. Where a longer hold is necessary, access should be limited and the information should not remain available for ordinary recruitment use.
The 12-month rule is a default policy, not a promise to delete records earlier than a mandatory legal minimum. Before launch, Drivearn must implement a workable deletion-request and retention-review process; this statement alone does not automate deletion.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by Drivearn, or ask questions about the specific businesses to which an application was disclosed. Additional rights and response deadlines may apply depending on your location and applicable law.
To make a request, email privacy@drivearnjobs.com. Please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant account or application. We may verify your identity before disclosing or deleting information. We will respond in accordance with applicable law and explain when an exception prevents full deletion.
You can decide whether to submit an application. You may edit information before submission, and where supported, update reusable preferences. Changing those preferences does not automatically rewrite an already-submitted application snapshot.
8. Data Security
We employ safeguards intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, including authentication, role-based access restrictions, database row-level security, restricted applicant visibility and HTTPS in the production environment. Internal access should be limited to authorized people who need it for recruitment operations or privacy requests.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If you believe your information or account has been compromised, contact privacy@drivearnjobs.com.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Drivearn uses necessary cookies or similar technologies to support sign-in, authentication, security and essential site functionality. The production site must be audited for any additional analytics, advertising pixels or optional tracking before launch. If such tools are added, we will update this notice and provide legally required choices or notices where applicable.
Disabling essential cookies can prevent login and application features from functioning properly.
10. Independent Recruiting Organizations
Delivery businesses using Drivearn are independent from the platform. They are responsible for their own recruiting decisions and may have their own privacy policies, recordkeeping duties and lawful obligations after they receive an application.
Drivearn does not guarantee a job offer, interview, engagement or response. An applicant's affirmative acknowledgment is limited to the stated recruiting purpose; it is not permission for unrelated marketing or sale of their application information.
11. Age Requirements
Drivearn's driver recruitment features are intended for individuals 18 or older. We do not knowingly seek applications from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@drivearnjobs.com so that we can review and take appropriate action.
12. International Access
Drivearn currently focuses on U.S.-based delivery opportunities. Service providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate. If we extend service to additional jurisdictions, we will review and provide any additional disclosures or safeguards required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this notice as the product, providers or legal requirements change. We will revise the Last Updated date and provide additional notice for material changes when required by law.
The current public version will be available at https://drivearnjobs.com/privacy once approved and published.
